Bridge over the River Welland

Four Mile Bar footbridge on the River Welland, between Crowland and Spalding, has recently been improved. The former bridge limited access to larger boats on the river, with an airdraft of only 1.6m.

  Fens Waterways Link Implementation Plan
A strategic document on the Scheme outlining the visionary nature and introducing the many varied issues that are associated with the Link. This document is at a more higher level of detail than the information leaflet and is supported by a series of supporting reports and appendices.

The Strategic Appraisal appendix (E): Consultation Responses and Supporting Report 7: Land Ownership are subject to the 1998 Data Protection Act and due to their content are not available for public viewing. The Engineering Appendix A: Route Maps is only available upon request contained within the Fens Waterways Link Disc Set. You can request your own copy using the 'Brochure Request Form' above and selecting the CD Set option.

  Fens Waterways Link CD Set
This CD set contains the Implementation Plan and the Supporting Reports that make up its’ appendices. The main disc is designed in an interactive manner and contains the route maps for the Link. Should your system be unable to cope with running this there are also raster files of all the data so you should be able to view the material whatever machine you work on.
 

  Crowland Heritage Trail Leaflet
The Crowland Heritage Trail is a photographic and visual arts nature and heritage trail which is both visually stimulating and tactile.
